1. Agreement
By creating an account or using Ten Pillars, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the platform. These Terms form a contract between you and Ten Pillars.
2. The Service
Ten Pillars is an AI-powered life coaching platform. We provide personalized roadmaps, educational video content, and AI coaching based on your assessment answers. The service is available on a Free and Pro subscription basis.
Ten Pillars is not a substitute for professional medical, financial, legal, or mental health advice. The AI coaching is educational and motivational — it's not therapy, and it's not a financial advisor. For serious health, financial, or mental health issues, please seek qualified professional help.
3. Your Account
- You must be at least 16 years old to use Ten Pillars
- You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure
- You're responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
- One account per person — accounts are not transferable
- Provide accurate information when creating your account
4. Subscriptions and Billing
Free plan: Available at no cost. Features may be limited at our discretion.
Pro plan: Billed at $19/month (or current price displayed at checkout). Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled.
Cancellation: Cancel anytime from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain Pro access until then.
Refunds: We offer a 30-day refund on your first Pro month if you're not satisfied. After that, all charges are final except where required by law. Contact us at billing@tenpillars.ai for refund requests.
Price changes: We'll give you 30 days notice before raising prices. You can cancel before the new price takes effect.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the platform for any illegal purpose
- Share your account with others or resell access
- Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or extract data from the platform
- Use the AI coach to generate content that could harm others
- Misrepresent yourself or provide false information
- Interfere with or disrupt the platform's operation
6. Intellectual Property
All content on Ten Pillars — video lessons, copy, design, and code — is owned by Ten Pillars or its licensors. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
Your assessment answers and roadmap content belong to you. We claim no ownership over the personal information you provide.
7. AI-Generated Content
Your roadmap and coaching responses are generated by AI. While we work hard to make them useful and accurate, AI can make mistakes. You're responsible for evaluating AI-generated advice and using your own judgment. We're not liable for decisions you make based on AI coaching.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ten Pillars' liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ends immediately.
10. Changes to These Terms
We'll notify you of material changes via email and an in-app notice. Continued use after changes means you accept the new Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration rather than in court, except for small claims.
